What is Laborers Rising?
Laborers Rising is about more than strengthening our union—it’s about strengthening our communities.
At Local 362, we believe showing up for others is part of what it means to be a union member. Through Laborers Rising, we’re making a visible difference across central Illinois by volunteering our time, lending a hand, and giving back to the people and places we care about.
How Local 362 Is Rising in Our Community
From rebuilding infrastructure to rebuilding hope, Local 362 members are committed to service—on and off the job site. Through Laborers Rising, we’ve been:
- Volunteering with local food pantries, shelters, and schools
- Supporting charitable events and fundraisers
- Donating supplies and labor for community improvement projects
- Showing up when disaster strikes—ready to help however we can
